VLM Configurations
D.H. Systems VLM can be configured according to each Customer's needs.
Work stations
VLMs can be configured with a total of up to 8 (eight) simple work stations; these stations may be opposed, overlapped or combined.
External handling
In many cases, so as to be able to handle the stored material in the VLM, the use of hoists is required since due to the material weight, it cannot be handled without this tool; in such a case, the VLM can be configured with an external fully automated handler which takes the tray out of the warehouse. In this case, the configuration is carried out by external handling of one single station.
Also, an increase in the Picking velocity may be required. In such a case, work stations with external handling of two stations may be configured, thus achieving to double the velocity of the warehouse picking.
